Admissions Process
Interested in enrollment?
- Contact your special education director in your school district to express interest in our program and in setting up a tour. Students need to be referred by their school district.
- The school district convenes an IEP meeting to review the students progress in his/her current placement and whether a referral to Maplestone is warranted.
- If the school district IEP meeting determines that a referral to Maplestone is warranted, the district will send Maplestone copies of the students IEP, most recent evaluations etc.
- Maplestone staff will review the information provided and determine if we feel that placement at Maplestone is appropriate. A start date will be determined if we have openings, or the student will be placed on our waiting list until an opening occurs.
